700,000 Americans are afflicted with alcoholism. This disease destroys the mind and body of the sufferer, and negatively changes the lives of those who care about him forever. There is nothing more painful than watching someone slowly kill themselves with alcohol, yet it continually happens while families watch helplessly.
Alcohol rehabs are a booming business. There is a revolving door of alcoholics who enter rehab for all the right reasons. Many of these people leave rehab and never have to look back. The alcoholic returns to normal society with a new lease on life and the promise that he never has to endure the pain again as long as he abstains from the alcohol that to him is a poison.
There are two types of rehab centers: State funded rehab centers and those operated privately. We’re concerned about private alcohol rehab in this article. The state offers many useful services, but because private rehab centers generate much more money, they are able to offer more services to alcoholics in recovery. They’re offer extensive and varied types of therapy to help the alcoholic overcome any mental illnesses that might accompany the alcoholism. Alcoholism itself is often a symptom of mental illness.
When you go to private alcohol rehabs, you are able to take advantage of the very best resources available to recovering alcoholics. You might even find a relaxing swimming pool to splash about in or basketball courts to use for getting rid of stress. There are many recreational services that are available during your stay in a private alcohol rehab. The food isn’t bad either.
You’ll pay for the extra comfort you receive in one of these facilities, but you’ll get everything you pay for and then some. You can expect excellent therapy, personal attention, a comfortable environment, and recreational activities to help you endure the pain of rehabilitation.

Silver cubic zirconia earrings can be the ideal to accent an elegant evening outfit without spending too much on accessories. You can get a pair of CZ hoop earrings for between $25 and $50…and I’m not talking about some cheap looking design that will look fake, but really elegant styles that will make people wonder if they’re diamonds.
Choosing Silver Cubic Zirconia Earrings
Pave and channel settings on hoops are the most popular this season and they need not be just white or clear cubic zirconia. There are colored faux gems that look like hot pink diamonds, and there are emerald and ruby imitations from cubic zirconia that sparkle even more than the real gems. I’ve found some really beautiful creations at Emitations that are solid silver and have loads of gems and sparkle and costs under $20. Some are even the styles that have several bezel set stones on a wide hoop, the stones are not symmetrical and sometimes the gems are different colors.
CZ Hoop Earrings That Look like Chandeliers
My favorite styles this season are the round CZ hoop earrings that have a series of dangling cubic zirconia teardrops from the outer part of the hoop making them appear like chandelier earrings, but being comfy with a complete ring that passes through your ear. These styles mimic some of the Indian and Persian creations, but are really affordable through places like Emitations for under $150. Most of them are gold plated or solid silver and have lots of sparkle and the hoops are quite large. They are rather dramatic pieces, but they are gorgeous.
The fun thing about hoops with CZ stones is that they can be worn to dress up an evening ensemble that’s formal, or to add bling to a casual outfit like jeans. Adding sparkle and gemstones to give a feminine touch to your look is the newest trend for 2010, and with all fabulous faux cubic zirconia diamond earrings, there’s no reason why the ladies can’t have the sparkle they dream of at an affordable price.

Great Danes have the ability to do a significant amount of damage to a house, backyard, or fence due to their shear size. They simply do not realize their own power when they jump on your shoulders to give you a hug. They also seem a little surprised when they jump on a fence and do enough damage to make it a hazard. As friendly as great danes are the last thing we want is our 150 pound dog running loose through a neighborhood. Not everyone is aware of how good natured they can be, all they see is a huge wild animal.
For this reason I find it a good idea to take measures to keep my danes off of my fences. There are a couple of different options. My backyard to some extent resembles a maze, with safe areas and areas that the danes cannot access. This is simply to keep the danes away from doors and gates where they can possibly get out if there is an accident.
The next step I take is to install some type of an invisible fence a couple feet inside the perimeter of the fence. This keep them off of the actual fence and extends the life time of my true fence. It also serves the purpose of keeping the dogs from jumping on the fence and giving passer-byes heart attacks.
If you are not familiar with invisible fences there are a couple of different types. There is the old fashioned electric cattle shocking fence, which I do not suggest. Avoid electric shocks to your family and friends and be a little more humane. There are also electric fences that give the dog a mild shock from a collar worn by the dog when it approaches too close. I really do not like this method either, for the simple aspect that it is not terribly humane and I collar could get broken or be left off.
The fence I prefer is a sonar fence that releases a high pitched sound when the dog approaches. The sound is not in the human pitch range so it is not bothersome but it creates an unpleasant sound for the dogs. So, they are rewarded for not approaching the fence. Some models of sonar fence are triggered by motion sensors and others are triggered by adaptors on a collar. Both have pros and cons and while I do not really like collar attachments I find that this is the most effective method
Do yourself a favor and give yourself some peace of mind by installing this safety device to keep your danes and everyone else safe.
